As senior vice president of land acquisition and planning, Jeff Schroeder has overseen all of Ponderosa's land acquisition, entitlement and development activities since 1999. Schroeder has also been director of land acquisition for Ryland Homes and Greystone Homes. He holds a bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech and a master's in city planning from UC Berkeley.

When Jeff is not working on finding land for new Ponderosa Homes communities, he is actively involved with raising his three children. He also serves on the board of the New Haven Schools Foundation and is currently serving as Immediate past chairman of the Home Builders Association of Northern California. Jeff also serves on the executive committee and board of directors of the California Building Industry Association.
